CHILDREN’S AREA


NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: In The Domer field - look for the big coloured archway and it's in there!

About it: The PlayArt Education team are once again running our fab Children's Area! With loads to do, including making things around the theme of recycling, there will also be water rockets, a mud kitchen, a water wall, a pirate ship, a small climbing wall, story telling and some other exciting things you'll just have to go and discover yourselves ;). Perfect for children of all ages, and a place for parents to relax too!


Cost: FREE on the most part, but some activities may ask for a small donation to pay for materials :)

Extras: Please note - children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times or they will not be able to enter the Children's Area


CLIMBING WALL & AXE THROWING


 

Location: Inbetween The Lloyd Lounge and The Folkroom (to be fair, just look up for a big blue climbing wall!)

About it: We've got a climbing wall again this year...and sorry, was that AXE THROWING you said?!? For the second year running, you can bring out your inner Viking (not for littlies though). Plus, who can climb the highest, who can get there fastest? Challenge your friends, or try climbing for the first time in a safe and monitored enviroment (this one is perfect for kids!)

Huge thanks to the Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team for bringing us all this!

Cost: Pay per go at the climbing wall/axe throwing itself



FUN FAIR


Location: In The Domer field

About it: Our Big Wheel and Fun House will be back again this year!! Race around against your friends on the dodgems, located in The Domer field – for big kids too!

There's also the inflatable area too with lots of running, jumping and bouncing to be done!

Cost: Per Go or a Day or Weekend Pass (bought through Herberts Funfair not Home Farm Fest)


WELLNESS AREA


SPONSORED BY YEOVIL PRIDE!

Location: Take the picket fenced path just before the Oak & Apple Bar and you'll walk into an oasis of tranquility :)


About it: We had a Wellness Area last year, running yoga workshops. This year, thanks to Lyndsey at Bloom Coaching and Michele at Starry Eyed Mama, we're upping our game and will have all sorts going on! A timetable will be announced soon.

Cost: FREE for workshops, treatments may cost so check first!



SILENT DISCOS

Location: Club Rouge in the Dance Village

About it: Our Silent Discos in are definitely worth seeking out, be be aware, they've moved this year! If you've never been to one before, now's your opportunity...and If you've never heard of them, then make sure you don't miss out on the fun...

SATURDAY: 7pm - 8pm - Not exclusively for children, but a great chance for them to enter the world of a 'silent' disco :)

SATURDAY: 11pm - midnight

WILD PLAY AREA


NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: Take the picket fenced path on the way down to the Wellness Area, but it's on the left just before :)


About it: New for this year! Our Wild Play Area is being run by the fab Lisa, and her team, from Willows Wild Play. There will be lots of activities for young ones to make and do, including: wood cookies, leaf and flower flags, willow wands and swords. There will be the following drop-in sessions:

Saturday: 11am - 1pm and 3pm - 5pm

Sunday: 11am - 1pm

Cost: FREE on the most part, but some activities may ask for a small donation to pay for materials :)

Extras: Please note - children MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times or they will not be able to enter the Wild Play area



CHILDREN’S DISCOS


Location: Avant Garde

About it: Run by the brilliant GSL Events, the Children's Discos are not to be missed!

FRIDAY: - 7pm - 8.30pm

SATURDAY: - 7pm - 8.30pm

A chance for children of all ages to bust a few moves and have fun at their own music venue - pop in for a bit, or stay for the whole thing, it's up to you.!

Cost: FREE!


CINEMA


Location: Avant Garde

About it: Start your morning off with a film! Perfect for the early risers, before the music all starts - and a place for Mum & Dad to chilll with a cup of coffee too. Or finish your evening with a film, great for if you've been on your feet dancing all day :)

HOME FARM FEST RUN

Location: Around the festival site! Starting from the Dutch Barn stage


About it: The inaugural run for Home Farm Fest. If you're a prolific Parkrunner, an avid athlete or like a gentle jog and therefore being at the festival means you're missing your weekend run, then this is perfect for you! Equally, if you fancy a run around the site either with or without children, then why not join in :)

Choose between 2.5k or 5k, the run is taking place at 9.30am on Saturday 13th June and is kindly being supported by Immortal Sport who are bringing their expertise (thank goodness!). 

Cost: £3 per entry (12 years old and under MUST be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are available through our usual ticketing platform, or you can 'pay on the day' in the Dutch Barn Tea Tent.


POO PATROL!

Location: Everywhere - where there's a toilet, there's Poo Patrol!


About it: These guys are many people's saviours. They're there to keep the loos clean, topped up with toilet roll, and they've even been known to fish a phone or two out the poo...!! Every year, their praises are sung higher and higher:

"I was worried about coming to a festival because of the toilets, but these guys are amazing!",

"I've never seen such clean toilets at a festival!",

"Cheers guys! Pleasure going to the dunny at HFF without the usual portapotty puddles and pongs...You guys rock!",

"Never have to bring my ‘full’ festival toilet kit to this one........fab job as always guys!"

TALKS AND WORKSHOPS


Location: Avant Garde


About it: This year we have a change for our Avant Garde stage! We've swapped music for talks and workshops, as well as our usual kids' cinema and this year a later cinema too. Sunday afternoon will see a footy takeover when we show the England v Croatia Euro match.

We'll post a full line-up soon!

Cost: FREE!


ENGLAND V CROATIA EURO 2020 SUNDAY 14th


Location: Avant Garde, Sunday 14th


About it: 1.50pm: England v Croatia - Euro 2020 (kick-off 2pm BST). This is England's first match, so of course we'll be showing it! Please be aware that space in Avant Garde is limited so once the barn is full, there will only be standing room outside (with a very restricted view, if any, of the screen)

Cost: FREE but limited capacity

THE TIPSY HEIFER

Location: In The Domer Stage arena
About it: The Tipsy Heifer - our bar in The Domer field, so called as when the festival’s not on, the cows are in residence in this field. A full bar with plenty of personality and a pub-like feel to it, you can hang out here with a pint in hand, whilst watching bands on the main stage!


THE DUTCH BARN BAR

NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: The Dutch Barn Stage arena
About it: The Dutch Barn Bar - the original of all bars that’s been with us since the festival started (in some form or another!). A full bar with staff you’re also likely to see dancing, and if you’re unlucky, singing, along to the bands playing on The Dutch Barn Stage!



THE OAK & APPLE

SPONSORED BY: HAM HILL CIDER!

Location: Next to The Folkroom Stage
About it: The Oak & Apple - a firm favourite amongst many as it’s name derives from being situated by oak trees…and full of Ham Hill cider! A great atmosphere and next to The Folkroom for that all-out ambient feeling (it also sells beer for the non-cider drinkers amongst you!)


THE DARK HORSE

NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: Next to The Lloyd Lounge Stage
About it: The Dark Horse Bar - situated next to The Lloyd Lounge Stage,  this bar’s name derives from Piers’s (who the charity’s originally in memory of) nickname. The perfect place to grab a drink whilst watching bands on this stage, whilst perusing the Market area, or having a rest on our Village Green!



CAFÉ DEL FARM (cocktails)

NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: In the Dance Village - right at the end, but well worth the journey!
About it: The Cafe del Farm Bar - run by the guys from The Bartender in Bristol, and located deep in the Dance Village, this bar is more of a lounge space with sofas to chill out on. Selling cocktails and mocktails complete with bar flair to go along with it, so if Tom Cruise is your man, then this is the bar for you!


THE UDDER BAR

NEEDS A SPONSOR!

Location: In The Domer Stage arena on Sunday afternoon/evening
About it: The Udder Bar is almost a late-comer to the party… This will be set-up on Sunday evening when only The Domer field is kept open from 4pm onwards. No prizes therefore for seeing how we came up with this name, alongside The Tipsy Heifer…!
