HOW DOES YOUR COMPANY FULFIL ITS CSR?
CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility is something all businesses and organisations are now aware of. In essence, companies nowadays are measured not only on what profits they make each year but also how much they give back to society.
Here at School a Bag we love working with the corporate sector and are always striving to get companies to make us their Charity of the Year (COTY).
“The partnership with School in a Bag proved so successful, and the level of engagement amongst our Old Mill colleagues across all offices was very satisfying. The events brought a sense of team building and camaraderie, and everyone felt motivated to support the cause”
Why don’t you consider entering a team into a sponsored event to raise funds for School in a Bag? See how many of your colleagues you can persuade to take on the challenge.
Sponsoring one of our annual events (such as Home Farm Festival) is a great way to associate your company with an international charity. It shows how you support giving children the opportunity to learn.
Bring your workforce along to one of our events to lend a hand. All our events are volunteer led, and we always need more. It is a fantastic way to exhibit to potential clients your association with charity.
CSR CASE STUDY: BLAKE ENVELOPES
In 2017, Blake Envelopes approached us to ask if we could help implement a CSR program for them that had impact and measurable results. They created a School in a Bag day in the office where employees wore red and alongside packing 200 SchoolBags, a proportion of the profits raised from the day would be donated. The sales team were given SIAB fact cards and their clients were encouraged to bulk order on that day to increase the profit margin. They doubled their daily total and they kickstarted their CSR program off with an impressive £13,000.
Their CSR campaign has grown in to the Blake Foundation working on their mission to ‘Give Hope Through Education’ and SchoolBags (often co-branded) are funded bi-annually!
